I've created online marketplaces that have scaled to seven figures, and invented SunShader, the original laptop shade that has sold over 30,000 units.

I am a Product Marketing Manager and Creative Strategist, with 10+ years experience developing innovative brands, products and services, building strong e-commerce, marketing and project management skills along the way.

In 2020, I created a new category of product with SunShader, the original, patented laptop shade (because laptops SUCK outside), and I have delivered branding and design projects for Fortune500 companies.

As founder of BOUF — Europe’s first online marketplace for unique homeware and personalized gifts — I worked cross-functionally with software engineers, product managers and designers to create proprietary e-commerce technology. We onboarded thousands of vendors, before raising venture capital, acquiring our main competitor, Glimpse Online, and subsequently selling the company to Sanoma PLC, Europe's largest media company, in 2015.

I created SunShader® after a lightbulb moment while using my laptop outside on a NYC roof deck, realizing that millions of laptop users would benefit from a device that shielded their laptops from the sun. Our flagship product has generated over $1m in sales and enables freelancers, digital nomads, students, photographers, creatives and musicians to work efficiently, no matter where they are.

Prophet Exchange is an innovative sports betting exchange where users can set prices for others to bet on, or place bets on the prices already available. Prophet hired me to create the branding, marketing creative and to design their early marketplace technology, from scratch.

Labbrand is a global branding agency with offices in New York, Paris, Shanghai, Singapore & Malaysia. They hired me to rejuvenate their own brand identity.

I was hired to create the brand identity for a new chain of "extended-stay hotels" for Choice Hotels. Following a series of workshops and an extensive naming process, the name Everhome was selected and I set about creating the brand identity. The project included 6 creative routes followed by the final brand identity, guidelines and all assets.

CASE STUDY

Datafy hired me to create new brand identity for their tech platform that provides HIPAA compliant communications between healthcare providers and partners. Security was the name of the game so the D-lock logo evolved to reinforce that message.

Researching electrophoretic ink (E-ink) technology that is now commonly used in the Kindle and flexible phone screens, I imagined how this innovative technology could transform signage and UX throughout the London Underground.
